HUMAN INERTIA…STOP, LOOK & LISTEN
THE WORKS OF ROBERT J. MILEY

Upon first view, this body of work unveils a visual offering of rich, subtle tones of color. It reveals frantic brush strokes and sometimes vertigo effecting images. This is precisely what it is supposed to evoke.

On second view our perceptions change. We are somehow reconnected with our indigenous past and our inner heartbeat.

Through the music and the dance on the canvas we are urged to explore our personal understanding of the relationships between nature, our beliefs and our rituals. We are sensing with our entire body and emotions
